My Flowers

Well Brook gave me this present for Christmas.. I never received one of these presents but it was really cool cause I would keep watching it. She gave me this flower that wasn't bloomed and you had to take care of it and it would grow. So one day Calvin and I looked over and it and leaves and flowers. The present that keeps giving!!! We Love It!! Oh and the best part is it will come back every year!

Little Gracie

A few weeks ago Calvin and I went and saw his Grandparents in Zepherhills. His Aunt Jamie was in town for the week so we were able to see her and the new little one she has. Her name is Grace and she is about 5-6 months I think. She is so cute you can tell that Calvin and her are related with those blue eyes. I think she looks like a cute little Cabbage Patch Doll!!!

Meaty Pasta Casserols

OK so I'm coping off of Brianna! I've been meaning to post a few new recipes that I've been trying out lately. The best part about the new recipes is that they are quick and easy! We like that when I get home so late some nights. So tonight we tried Meaty Pasta Casseroles!!!

It was so good Calvin and I Loved it!! There is one good thing about this recipe, it makes 2 13x9 pans. So you make them both and then freeze one for up to 3 months, I liked that idea so in about a month you don't have to make dinner!!!! (It looks like a lot to do but it really isn't it's so easy)

Prep: 45min Bake: 25min
Meaty Pasta Casseroles
1 pkg. (16oz) penne pasta
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground Italian sausage
1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 med. chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
2 cans (14 1/2oz) Italian diced tomatoes
1 jar (Prego) Italian Sausage and Garlic Sp. Sauce
1 jar (16oz) mild chunky salsa
1 8oz pkg. pepperoni, chopped
1 cup shredded Swiss Cheese
4 cups shredded Mozz. Cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded Parm. Cheese
1 jar Prego Three cheese Sp. sauce
I also added about 2tsp. of minced garlic

Cook pasta, meanwhile in Dutch oven cook the beef, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers cook until meat is no longer pink (drain).

Drain pasta, and add to the meat mixture. Stir in the Tomatoes, Sausage and Garlic Spaghetti sauce, Salsa, and chopped Pepperoni.
Divide half on pasta mixture between 2 greased 13x9 baking dishes. Sprinkle each with 1/4 cup Swiss cheese, 1cup Mozz. cheese, 1/3 cup Parm cheese. Spread 3/4 cup Three cheese Spaghetti sauce. Top with remaining Pasta mixture and Three cheese Sp. sauce. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
Cover and Freeze one casserole for up to 3 months. Cover and bake remaining casserole at 350 for 25 min. Uncover and bake 10min. longer until cheese melts.

To use Frozen Casserole: Thaw in fridge overnight. Remove from the fridge 30min before baking. Cover and bake at 350 for 45min. Uncover bake 10min longer until cheese melts

The Grouper

When Jon and Darlene where here we went out for Calvin's Birthday so they were able to celebrate with him. We took them to the Food Shack in Jupiter, which is one of our favorite restaurants around here. They have the best fish around it is all fresh it is just amazing. Then we went to the Square Grouper which is a outside Tiki bar on the inter coastal right next to the Jupiter inlet. It was a beautiful night windy and a little chilly, gave them a little feel on a night out in Florida!

A Little Late

Well I've been a little lazy lately and not updating my blog.... But I'm doing it know, so I put together a collage of Boomer from Christmas. He is so cute we got him the new bed and toys. He loves his bed we've never seen him lay in his bed as much as he does now. He likes to mess it all up he's weird! Brook got him the Michigan jersey he looks so cute in it true Michigan fan!!!

It has been real cold here lately the past couple of nights it has been in the low 30's. Freezing for real!!!! Calvin has been a big baby with the cold, I think that he forgets that he used to live in Michigan. He's turning the heat to 76 a little crazy. I just go up behind him when he's not looking and turn it down!
