Wish Me Luck!

Well Mini Lobster season is on it's way July 25 & 26. So my Dad, Brianna, Tyler, and Meagan are coming down. You don't even know how excited I am to see them. I can't wait to see Tyler and see how much he has grown in the past 2 months, watching him swim and also taking him to the beach! I think he will love the beach. So they get here and that Saturday night before lobster season opens. A whole week to see them, that is great. So mini lobster season opens at 12:00am on Tuesday night so that means we go diving at midnight for lobsters. That is the best time I got my biggest and only one last year at that time. It was huge but man did it taste good, I tried to eat all of it but I couldn't! I'm hoping to get another one this size or even bigger, small ones will do. The lobsters down here in Florida are so good! Then on Wed. and Thurs. you go out all day trying to get lobsters. I was able to take off Wed so that was good then I can dive with Dad more. So I'll let you know in the next couple of weeks on what we caught.

Our Big Expense!!

Well would you think that this little Cuddle Monster could rack up the vet bills! Oh yeah he can. So tonight we took Boomer to the vets because his feet were really irritated and raw. His neck and ears where bad also. So they did this this test to see if he had mange (sp?) that is were it is a mite under their skin. But thank goodness it came back negative. So the results of our visit to the vet was that he has a allergy and it starts off mild and then gets worse (an infectious stage). Yes Boomer's was at that stage. That Sucked!!!
So now he is one 3 antibiotics, one for the itching, inflammation, and I think just a antibiotic so the infection goes away. Also he has to have a medicated bath 2 times a week, and clean his ears 2 times a week until he gets better. At least he wasn't the only one with this problem, he was the 4th dog to come in today with the same thing. Oh you want to hear the worse part about the visit? Well Boomer decided he was going to be a brat and growl at the assistant, but he was fine with the other ladies there. So they put a muzzle on him! I was NOT HAPPY! I knew that he wouldn't do anything but Calvin said they have to be safe. So after everything scrapping his skin, and 2 shots we took the muzzle off and he was fine, kissing the doctor and being all nice. I think he was just nervous he never has been anywhere else besides the Mill-pond. Well what am I going to do he's to cute. I just have to babysit more on the side to take care of Boomer's new prescription food and his allergies. But we love him!

House Hunting

So Calvin and I got pre-approved to get a house (if you didn't here already)! We are so excited, it will be a fun next couple of months. We are hoping to get a house in Stuart, Palm City or Port Saint Lucie area. We are going to start looking pretty soon here, maybe go to a few open houses on Sundays if we aren't on the boat.
Well mini lobster season is coming up at the end of July. My dad, Bri, Tyler, and Meagan are going to be down. So that will be so much fun! We love when family comes and visit us down here, we start to get a little lonely. So when we get our house we will need lots of help. Mom I could use your help decorating my house (I'll hire you as my interior designer)! Well I'll write in a couple of days and let you all know what is going on.

What We Caught!

OK well I told you that I would write on Sunday but after waking up at 4:30am and being in the sun all day long I was tired. Yes I could have done it yesterday but I decided to just sit on the couch after work and watch General Hospital. So know I'm getting around to it.
Sunday on the boat was so cool. We didn't catch that much, really only 3. But the day before Calvin and the guys did really well, so it was fine that we didn't get much. But it did get boring we need to go out with Berto he knows all the good spots. Berto went out with some other friends and they did really well. They got about 40 little chicken dolphin! The best thing about that is they all said that sense that got that much Calvin and I could keep all the fish from the day before! That was awesome because that means we have 5 big bags now instead of 1. So I'm trying to talk Calvin into taking me out again for my birthday, cause I got the day off and the best thing about that is I get paid also. Sense I won that promotion at work. So we will see if he can get a boat from the marina for the weekend.

OK will here are the pictures that I took on the boat. Oh yeah we were out about 25miles and as you can see in the pictures the water was calm only 1-2' seas. That was nice.

Calvin reeling in a fish but then it got loose!

Then his friend Abe got a good size Dolphin! And then here is me with my little chicken dolphin. This little guy put up a fight! It is neat how different it is catching fish in the ocean than in the lakes up north!

Well Calvin and the guys were in a fishing tournament today. They did very well they caught 25 little dolphin. We have 5 bags of fish in the freezer but we only get one, which is about 10lbs of meat!!! Yummy! Calvin and I are going out tomorrow also with a friend from work and his girlfriend. We will not be fishing in the tournament, but we follow Berto and the others. We hope to get a big one! I will post some pictures tomorrow night and show you the adventure.

Also after the guys got back in the marina was having there own tournament and dinner. So we got to eat free dinner, and guess what we had LOBSTER flown in from Maine. It was awesome we could eat all we wanted. I had 2 lobsters sooooo good! Well I have to get to bed we have too be up by 4:30am. Talk to you later

Learning to Swim!

So when I was in Alabama I went on the boat with my G-Pa, Aunt Bri, Uncle Mike, Cousin Tyler, Mom and Dad. I really like being on the boat.
But there is one problem I'm not a good swimmer! Yes that is crazy but I can't I sink. See........

Then I wasn't to happy with my Dad after the fact!

So before I went out on the boat for Memorial Day Mom and Dad decided to get me a little life-jacket. So I could learn a little bit how to swim, but I still was scared when I couldn't touch the bottom. Well at least if something would happen to me I won't sink. But you got to say I look like a stud!!!!!
Bark at you later:)

Boomer

I'm a BLOGGER!

Well I got suckered into being a blogger by Brianna. No it is really neat, it will be a good way for us to stay in touch with family and friends. Hopefully I can get Calvin to write a couple blogs you never know he might like it. I think that this will be good cause life gets busy and sometimes you forget to pick up the phone. So this will keep you all posted on how our life is going down here in Florida.

Well lets see..... Since we got home from our trip in Michigan it has been crazy. First we went out and bought a bedroom set with our gifts from the wedding. That was a lot of fun to do! So that meant we had to get bedding and lamps and all of the good stuff. I had fun Calvin's only input was "I don't want anything girly" so I guess I had to compromise a little. So with getting the furniture we had to rearrange the whole house! That was hard but fun.

Then we had Meagan and two of her friends come and stay with us for a week. We really enjoyed that, they were a lot of fun. We made sure that they always had something to do, because when you visit Florida you don't want to be inside!

Ok well I have to get going I have a long day tomorrow. I will write some more tomorrow night and get some pictures of the bedroom set and Boomer with his new outfit we got for him!
Hope you enjoy, I know I will.

Love:)
